Welcome to Towery Pines Terriers!  We are David & Carol Keener and our 4 children: Shelby, Jessica, Davey, & Emily.  We are a small kennel in the foothills of North Carolina centrally located between Charlotte, NC; Greenville, SC; and Asheville, NC.  We emphasize sound temperaments as well as working ability and correct confirmation.  Our puppies are raised in our home and are well socialized by us and our four children.  All of our terriers are BAER tested and CERF'd annually.

We bought our first Jack Russell in 1996.  David was at Plott Days in Rock Hill, SC and saw some JRT's work a bear.  He had always had coon & coyote hounds and enjoyed hunting with the dogs.  When he saw the Jack Russell's working, he decided he had to have one.  "Tiffany" our first JRT is extremely intelligent, an awesome hunter, and a great family dog.  We have used her to train pups in the hunt field, be a nursemaid, as a babysitter, etc. 

Since 1996, we have joined the JRTCA, registered our kennel with the JRTCA, participated in many trials and hunting expeditions, and introduced numerous people to life with a JRT.  Jack Russell's are highly intelligent and full of life. We encourage a potential buyer to be fully educated on life with a JRT and try to offer as much help as we can.  Please come by and visit us if you are ever in the foothills of the Carolina's.
